Bill Martin at Tulliallan Nursery
The photographs are courtesy of Will Anderson, Seafield and Strathspey Estates and also his father Willie Anderson/Kincardine Local History Group. Both men worked for a period with the Forestry Commission in Tulliallan Nursery and surrounding forests.This photograph and a number of others were given to Willie Anderson by Jean Stoddard (nee Gibb) whose father Jock Gibb is in some of the photographs. The photographs were placed in the Kincardine History Group archive by Willie Anderson. The year the photographs were taken is unknown but estimated roughly as between1947-1950 and 1948 has been allocated as the year.
Old records indicate that W C (Bill) Martin served as Tulliallan from 1948 to around 1957 and afterwards at Creran Forest in the West.
