VeePee 8 wheel ATV trial

Details of this trial in Dalchork Forest near Lairg, Sutherland, are not well remembered. The machine was demonstrated by Thistle plant of Elgin as an alternative to the 8 wheel Argocat. The machine may have been made by Poncin - whoever they are?
The vehicle had a more rigid body than the Argocat but did not seem to have any better clearance and may have been heavier. Can all the people be named?
