Caterpillar D7 with mounted tine Plough on low loader
Photograph is courtesy of Jim Christie, Crook of Devon, a former senior mechanical engineer in the Forestry Commission.
This image is a total unknown apart from the fact that this is a Caterpillar tractor and a Clark of Parkgate deep tine plough head and beam.
It could be construed that this was a trial fix up of the deep time plough onto an old civil engineering D7. The mounting mechanism of plough onto tractor is mostly hidden but the parts visible look different to later systems.
Does anyone know the drivers and anything about these machines and location?
