BTD8 (possibly) with mounted tine Ploughing in very scenic location

This machine ULM258F with a mounted tine is working on a steep rocky slope above what appears to be a sea loch with white sandy beaches and beyond that more lochs and a distinctive mountain top. Very west coast Scotland type scenery – may be Mull, Skye or other areas. Can anyone identify the location?

Very typical mounted tine country where the short manoeuvrable machine combination was able to reverse up and in among the rocks and plough small difficult areas.

Pretty confident this photo is from the upper slopes of the plantation on the west side of Loch Laidon in the far west of Perthshire. The image is looking east over Loch Laidon in the foreground, Loch Eigheach beyond with the buildings of Rannoch Station on the left and the dark smudge of the Rannoch Barracks plantations to the right. There's even a wee peep at Loch Rannoch in the distance.
Clincher of course is the pyramidal peak of Sidh Chailleann; the Fairy Hill of the Caledonians. Perhaps better known as Schiehallion. Comment left on 28 June 2025 at 21:59 by John Burrow
