Forestry Centenary Event in Ford Community Hall, Argyll

Jeni West, Planning Forester with Forestry and Land Scotland, West Region, is holding her cake and on it the well remembered image of recent bygone days, the era of Forest Enterprise Scotland, part of the Forestry Commission that managed the state forests.
This local forestry community event in celebration of 100 years of forestry and in fact the Centenary of the origins of the Forestry Commission was attended by around 50 present and former forestry staff from the local areas.
