Date Added: 17 November 2019 Contributor: Norman Davidson Year of Photo: 1956 Picture No: 4563

The photograph is courtesy of Peter White (Perth) and Bill Sinclair (Turriff).

The men having a break from possibly fencing or clearing a rabbit fence. The man on the far side of the fence is named as Hector Macdonald and on this side Gordon (surname?) and Dan MacEwen nearest camera. Is that a pie he is holding?

Its fantastic to see forest workers smiling, often the work was laborious and under harsh conditions. Comment left on 22 November 2019 at 20:09 by leslie phillip
