Presentation to J B Thow at Forest of Deer where he was Forester and Head Forester for 35 years (1934 – 1969). James Thow started with the Forestry Commission possibly around 1929 after working for a short while at Beaufort Castle.

My father was Gordon Innes, who was originally a gamekeeper, after which he worked with the Forestry Commission for many years. I have many fond memories of him and remember all his colleagues, of that time, well. Childhood memories. 😊 Comment left on 10 August 2017 at 20:00 by Margaret Cordiner
