RSFS Certificates - Alex Grossert
The images are courtesy of Shona Marshall and features certificates from the collection of her late father, Alex Grossert. Alex was a forestry student at Glentress Forester Training school from 1948-1950 and after working for the Forestry Commission for a short period took up employment with Buccleuch Estates as Drputy Head Forester at Bowhill Forest, Selkirk in 1951.
Shown here is the RSFS Forester’s Diploma Certificate awarded in 1953 and in the attached PDF are images of the Junior and Senior Forester’s Certificates that were awarded to Alex in 1949 and 1950 respectively.
