After the history was written in 1952 Delgaty Forest expanded by the acquisition of areas of land at King Edward (Wood of Balchers), Wood of Wrae outside Turriff, a series of areas near Cuminestown (Minister’s moss, Waggle Hill, Greenness, Castlehill), some scattered blocks near Fyvie (Rappla Wood, Camalynes, ??) and more areas at Methlick (Gight, Badiebath, Wardford, Polesburn, Crimmond Hill, Long Hill and blocks around Tanglandford).
After 1969 Delgaty Forest was amalgamated with Forest of Deer.
