The Delgaty Forest office sited near the public road side on the north side of Delgaty Wood. The sectional shed was moved from Maryhill Wood at Mountblairy where the planting first started in 1949, re-erected at Delgaty Wood and after 1969 sold to Emslie Wilson.

It is interesting to note that the right hand end of the building was forester Willie Skene’s house from 1949 through well into the 1960s. Willie was a single man and travelled every where on his bicycle in those early days. Latterly in the 1960s he bought himself a fine residential caravan and parked it beside the shed at Delgaty Wood.
