Mining spoil bing planting

Date Added: 09 December 2018 Contributor: Norman Davidson Year of Photo: 1970 Picture No: 4317

This image was found by Avril MacLennan in the Forestry Commission Office at Golspie (North Highland Forest District) as part of a presentation. No details however were available.

The year is estimated at around 1970 but could be well out. The location is not known but the trees appear very healthy and planted in remarkably straight lines.
