The chemical spray called Simazine was used frequently at the tree nurseries in the Forfar area in the nineteen fifties and sixties, I wonder if it is still in use today.?

It's banned in Europe, I'm not sure about elsewhere. Like many other chemicals, its hazards only became known after it had been used for many years. I hate to think of the long term effects of some of the chemicals we used. One in particular, that I can't remember the name of, dissolved the floor of a van after it was spilled.
