Year of the Flies

Dave as a Forest Wildlife Ranger showing off the forest fly population which can rise to very high and discomforting numbers during some summers. They certainly can make work a bit of an endurance test but certainly less arduous than if attended to by hoards of midges!

Here the flies are probably attracted to the remains of their species splattered on the vehicle roof searchlight.
