I can well remember Norman's Challenger 33; many were the times that I was called out to repair it.
However the Challenger was not the first F.C. machine fitted with a rear mounted ripper. Noel Reid's Caterpillar D6B FC NO:3696 holds that honour.
Norman's Challenger 33 FC No:4596 was slightly younger! Comment left on 18 August 2012 at 11:22 by Ian Cameron, mobile mechanic 1962/70.
