Aerial Fertilising at Horsburgh,Glentress Forest

A series of photographs of BEAS company spreading unground rock phosphate on the trees on top of Horsburgh in Glentress Forest around 1973/74.
The company were using at this time a Bell 47G-5 (new in 1970) registration number G-AYEL.
See the PDF for more views of the operation. This must have been about the last of the small fertiliser bag delivery system as the containers were changed to 0.75 tonne bags all lifted by hydraulic cranes.
