Clearing windblow in Glentress Forest about 1973

Two men, John Tammy and Ian Smart, snedding windblown trees in Glentress Forest near to the Ponds area.
Can anyone identify the chainsaw make from the photographs?

To my eye the moulded spark plug protection in the top cover and the apparently same overall saw colour (that would have been orange) would mean that these are Husqvarna saws. Jonsereds would have had silver top covers with red cases and if memory serves me the plug would have stuck out from the upper case, with just the black rubber plug cap for protection. Finally, the rear of the right handle guard is all in the one aluminium alloy casting, which on a Jonsered was separate and had a shock absorber joining the upper and lower parts of the rear handle together. So, I suggest that they are Husqvarnas. My regards, Bill

Yes Bill, Husqvarna 62 I believe with a choice of 13” or 16” bar....Johnsereds had gone in around 1969 or 1970.

Sorry..Jonsereds went in 73...not 70...the originals had no antivibration handles..they then had a temporary rubber bung type spacer..which cut the vibration to the hands, but were very prone to tearing and rendering the saw unworkable...hence me having to use a 3lb old English snedding axe for quite a long time..by the time of this photo the shock absorbers had been sorted I recall.
