Benmore Forestry students practical lesson

This could be an outdoor session on some aspect of forestry. It is very difficult to recognise the back view of the people and also the scan quality of the photocopy version is not good but the two lead people have the bearing of Philip Gough on the right and Bob Hart on the left.
Is that Hunters Quay on the end of the next peninsular?
Can anyone name the location of the walking group?
Can any of the forestry students be named?

This looks like a view from above Blairmore village looking south towards Dunoon. So Yes, Hunters key and Kirn pier in the distance with the group likely high enough to be walking the forest road that runs above the Strone golf course.

As Andy says, it's taken on the top road above Blairmore. This road joins the more distant road which comes up from Blairmore Farm just at the spot where that road bends to the left.

'The photo of the group walking down the forest road I think was taken from the hillside above Strone/Blairmore and looking across the Holy Loch entrance to Dunoon in the distance. At the front of the group on the left I think is Forester Instructor Bob Hart (not at all sure of this), on the front right is Chief Instructor P C Gough, behind them in middle of road is either student Brian Pedder or Ben Seniscal (but again not sure on this) next three from left are Andy Orr, Walter McCloskey and Fred Carty (in blue shirt).
