Kilcoy Forest resurvey map 1 - Black Isle
Maps are courtesy of Inverness, Ross and Skye Forest District and show the forest area originally part of Kilcoy Forest and then part of Black Isle Forest and then all amalgamated into Culloden Forest District. See large image for actual map.
This map details the compartments from 101 to 176 and the planting years from 1947-1962. These early resurvey forest maps did not have all the compartment and sub-compartment details on the actual map but included them in a table pasted onto the side of the map.
Any stories and details of those who worked here would be very welcome.
