Culbin Forest marking team

Rosemary Armour of Forres has provided a photograph of the her grandfather Willie Milne, Head Forester Culbin Forest, who is seen here with the edge tool used to mark trees, a slasher, in his left hand. Standing with him is the forestry foreman for Cubin Forest , Jock Macdonald.

Can anyone estimate the age of what is taken to be a Ford Trojan van JXX110?

Any information on people who worked in Culbin Forest would be very welcome.
