Lovely historic photo of the Mill structure, chip piles and jetty link to the little islets in the Corpach basin. The jetty was an access to and carried the pipes which blew the chips taken in by ships moored at the dolphins which were constructed on the other side of the islet. Pulp mill and jetty now dismantled but the old steel lighter is still there!
See PDF for another view of the jetty link and the small boats in the Corpach basin with old boat slip and repair shed just in view.
Can anyone confirm if the jetty was capable of carrying machines hence the explanation of the abandoned pile of pulp?
