The image taken by E R Robson shows Experiment No 9 P63 on a mix of shallow double furrow and deep single furrow ploughing the latter probably acting as drains. The image is taken from next a boundary fence and the plough furrows ploughed parallel to the fence and planted with larch for a fire belt is just visible at bottom of picture. Old sheep drains cross the whole site. In the distance the experimental area is visible with its forest of pegs and marker posts. The PDF shows another view.
