Forest Record Forms for year 1946/47 Kessock
The documents are courtesy of Inverness, Ross and Skye Forest District and features Forest Records R3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 completed for Kessock Forest.
This appears to be the official quantities completed form which was sent to the Conservancy Office and from which the annual report figures may have been sourced. At this time also Forest Record books were maintained and it is possible that these were typed up at Conservancy Office from these documents. Forest Record books were maintained from early 1930s up until the 1950s and provided a comprehensive history of work carried out on the forest. Note that Forest Record No 8 is also attached but has some quantities recorded that do not tie up with those on R4. See full set on attached PDF
Note the Conservator named as James Fraser in post from 12 May 1947, District officer John A Dickson and Forester in charge at Kessock as A C Gray.
