KenMcRae and colleagues at Bonchester Bridge
In the early days of his forestry career Ken McRae was stationed at Bonchester Bridge in the Scottish Borders. Anyone remember him and his colleagues from the shot above. Anyone else stationed in the huts?

November December 1948.The person on the left is Bob Meikle of Innerleithen
(became a fencing contractor). I think the surname of the second from the right was Mowat, who married a local girl called Agnes Neil, daughter of the Forestry Commission Gamekeeper. Comment left on 18 July 2010 at 09:29 by Bob Milner
