Benmore Forestry students Annual Photograph
This one of a set of images from photocopier scans and is courtesy of the staff at Glenbranter Forest Office.
Little was known of the details of people apart from a couple of names written on one of the images but one former student Bob Boyd has been tracked down to Northern Ireland and has provided the following information:
‘The photo is the annual "official" photo of 1958/60 students and is of our 2nd year at Benmore.
Back Row; Ben Seniscal, Bob Boyd, Maurice Clements, Ian Reid, Fred Carty, Walter McCloskey.
Front Row; Bill Mason, Andy Orr, Bert Mitchell, Philip C Gough, Roderick Macdonald, Bob Hart and Bob Cuthbertson.
Brian Pedder is not included as he left Benmore after one year.’
Note that Bert Mitchell, Philip Gough , Roddy Macdonald and Bob Hart were the school lecturers and senior staff.
