Benmore Forestry students on Kilmun Hill
This one of a set of images from photocopier scans and is courtesy of the staff at Glenbranter Forest Office.
Little was known of the details of people apart from a couple of names written on one of the images but one former student Bob Boyd has been tracked down to Northern Ireland and has provided the following information:
‘‘Yes it looks like Kilmun hill, probably taken in winter time. From left, Ian Reid, Ben Seniscal and Andy Orr are having a break enjoying sandwiches made with the delicious fillings supplied from Mrs Clark's kitchen.’’
Note that Ben and Andy are wearing wax proofed jackets and Ian the more traditional manufactured waterproof. Can anyone remember who made the wax proofed jackets in those days and what were they called?
