I don't know any of these workers but when I lived in Achnamara one of my neighbours was a John Francis who worked at Ardentinny before he came to Achnamara and that would be about 1952.

My Dad John(Jock McIntyre) second from left worked in Glenfinart forest for fifty years quite a record.

I spent 7years as forester at Ardentinny 1972-79 and had the pleasure of working with Jock McIntyre and Harry Lees and the person kneeling on the left of the picture, who I believe could be Alistair MacLean. Jock and Alistair two stalwarts who could turn their hand to any job and could be relied upon to do a craftsmans job every time.
