Photograph courtesy of Sandy Gordon, Nairn, whose father James Gordon was a long service forester in the Forestry Commission latterly at Ferness Forest, Nairnshire. Sandy also worked for seven years with the Commission as a mechanic based at Longman workshop.

A view of the BTD20 Dozer Registration 691ELM which was driven by George Maclean probably on a weekend when the James Gordon with family and friends are visiting the work site of a forest road being built through the forest area near Airdrie in Findhorn Valley.

From top left the people are Sandy Gordon, Max Gordon (on tracks) with local farmer George Manson. In front are John Manson (local farmer) and Irene Gordon.

There is another machine parked behind the dozer but not enough showing to see its make and type.
