Part only of Guisachan Forest stock map which shows the main forest section. This map would have been produced following an extensive forest survey probably over the previous year or two. The details of the species and planting year have been added in by hand and a little difficult to read. Some species, mainly Scots pine and larch, have the planting years indicated as 1850 etc and were purchased with the land.
Any further early details and names of foresters and workers would be very welcome.
