Year of the photograph is not known but pulp and paper mills appear to be in full production. Lying abandoned on the right hand side are piles of logs which could be hardwood brought in from overseas. The author recalls some being shipped at some point – eucalyptus? The piles of conifer chipwood look as though they are near capacity.

In the back ground the village of Corpach with the new houses built at the same time as the mill. Note the Dolphins out in the loch for unloading shipments of timber and chips but do not recall them being used very much.

Details welcome.
