Tentsmuir Forest 1934
Early photographs taken in 1934 from a forestry album of 117 photographs compiled by an unknown Forestry Commission officer. No other information intimated.
Two views of Tentsmuir Forest, on the Fife coastline, have been combined, the top looking Northeast and bottom Southwest. Both views are from quite a high vantage point pointing to the possibility of a Fire Tower or some such structure. Can anyone confirm?
On the top image parts of the Tay estuary can just be seen below the dramatic sky and cloud formation.
