Referring to the Journal of the Forestry Commission 1929 it transpires that a Divisional Officers conference was held at Forest of Dean and the photograph above and those following are from this event held in September of that year.
‘The Assistant Commissioners, Deputy Surveyors and all Divisional Officers attended and Mr. Pearson and Major Cosgrove of the Forest Products Research Laboratory were present by invitation at two of the meetings.’
