Inchnacardoch Forest — Mr Scott
Early photograph taken circa 1926 from a forestry album of 117 photographs compiled by an unknown Forestry Commission officer.
The brief caption gives very little away except that the person standing on the left is Mr F Scott, Divisional Officer for North Scotland from 1920-1930 (Divisional Officer role subsequently renamed Conservator).
There is a possibility this site with good growing Scots pine is on the Lon Mor experimental area but judging by the slope could more likely be in the normal plantings of the forest. The younger man on the right is not the Head Forester John Cameron but again could be the Research Forester based there at that time.
Any information very welcome.
