Early photograph taken in 1930 from a forestry album of 117 photographs compiled by an unknown Forestry Commission officer.
This photograph is of a map of the Great Glen which appears to promote the employment potential of the Forestry Commission against that of traditional Estate employment over the same ground.
The maps shows as ten forest areas in the Great Glen, the total areas purchased by the FC, numbers employed at Aug 1930 and numbers of new Forest Worker Holdings (FWH).
