Dr Mark Anderson — Experimental
Early photograph taken circa 1925 from a forestry album of 117 photographs compiled by an unknown Forestry Commission officer. No other information given.
Mark Anderson was a Forest Research Officer in the Forestry Commission, Scotland, based in Edinburgh. It seems that he was prior to 1923 responsible for all the Sample Plot work but later went on to be head of Forest Research in Scotland. He resigned from this post in 1926/27 around the same time as Drs Borthwick and Munro, all to take up other posts outwith the Commission (ref Journals of Forestry Commission).
