Early photograph taken circa 1924 from a forestry album of 117 photographs compiled by an unknown Forestry Commission officer.

Mr Fredrick M Mitchell (see comments) was in charge of Culbin for from 1922 to 1934 recorded as in Carden Forest in 1939 to 1950 (subsequent years not checked).

F.M.Mitchell, was my father.

Patricia - Details from the period of your father's time in the Forestry Commission are very scarce and any information of where he trained and a note of his posting locations in the country would be very welcome.
