William McClymont Forester

Date Added: 03 February 2017 Contributor: Norman Davidson Year of Photo: 1925 Picture No: 3498

Early photograph taken circa 1925 from a forestry album of 117 photographs compiled by an unknown Forestry Commission officer. No other information provided.

Records show that William McClymont was forester at Achnashellach Forest from 1923-1927 and then at Creagnaneun Forest 1927- 1931. His detailed postings after this are not known but he appears to have stayed in the Northern Division and is recorded in Glenhurich Forest in 1939 to 1950 (subsequent years not checked).
