Radio Communications - Early days
Thanks to Bill Irvine of Radio and Electronics Branch of FC at Dunkeld for passing this on.
We have no idea of who, where or what is happening but looks like a posed shot with a smartly dressed forester demonstrating the Fire Helmet and an early Radio system which looks ex army.
Your help required to identify the forester and the approximate year as well as type of radio equipment.

systems were introduced into the FC in 1958/59, it was GEC who supplied the equipment. Culbin Forest was the first forest in Scotland to have a radio system installed. I feel that I should know the Forester "posing" with the radio, but his name escapes me at the moment. Comment left on 07 June 2008 at 14:04 by Don Amer
