Am I right in thinking these machines had International harvester engines?

Yes, they used the International engine and International's Hydro transmission.

Yes, geared bogies back and front. Still a few going. FC had bed processors on the same chassis.

i completely rewired a Bruunett on site after it went on fire in Glenferness Forest for the FC - that would be in 1984. The cause was twigs jammed the AC motor above the cab.
