The Forestry Commission North Scotland at this time had a range of vehicles for shifting material, equipment and machines. As well as the Brimec sliding platform lorries and low loaders there were a number of smaller lorries used for fencing material and sometimes ploughs and spare plough heads based at various locations throughout the Conservancy.

This Leyland 340 is sitting outside the storage yard at Fort Augustus Forest District Office.
