Quarry working at Corrimony, Glenurquhart

This is Corrimony area in Glenurquart Forest – at the top of River Enrick. This forest area was fenced, ploughed, planted and subsequently sold to RSPB because of its value as a black grouse reserve.
The quarry workings were needed to provide smaller size stone to improve the already existing access road up to Category 1 Standard (that is suitable for lorry traffic).
There is a selection of machinery on site and two men can just be seen under the elevator next to the front shovel loader. The source material appears to be a mixed size rock gravel which required some crushing to bring down to a workable size (say 4 inch down) that could be applied to the surface of the existing track into Corrimony Forest.
Machinery includes crusher, screens, front shovel, fuel bowser, ford van, excavator and lorry. Any details on the machines and drivers would be very welcome.
