The Fort Augustus Forest District Timberjack driven by Dougie (Shenner) MacDonald is working in Glen Affric Forest hauling out large Douglas fir trees which have been felled specifically to supply the timber for new masts for the ship Discovery based in Dundee.

The timber was felled in two locations the other being in Reelig Glen in Inverness Forest District. The PDF shows another view of the extraction operation with perhaps Graeme Cullen (Dark hair blue shirt) one of the onlookers. He was a trainee Forest Officer 2 in Fort Augustus at the time.
