The writing on the image is difficult to make out but I did see the name D Woodburn and again not easy to make out his previous occupation but looks like PQW or POW (Prisoner of War?)
Some people may remember a District Officer called David Woodburn who I think may have been involved in acquisitions prior to his retirement in the Inverness area (around 1980?).

My mother, Margaret, who passed away three years ago, was born in the area of Dalmacroitch, Strathcinon, hopefully that's correct, in August 1930 we only found out after she passed, her maiden name was Moir,and her father, who unfortunately I never knew, was a forestry worker in the Highlands, apparently moving on to different places following the work.
I cannot remember my grandfathers Christian name, but my mum was one of ten siblings, all passed now. I wish we had known more about her upbringing whilst she was still alive, but she never really mentioned it.

Paul - Sorry to hear about your mother.
It is a long shot to find details of her and her father's past but more information is always helpful. Did your mother have a middle name? Also accurate details of her home location - you have said Strathcinon but did you mean Strathconon in Ross-shire? Paul, my condolences for your Mum's passing.
As Norman has said, your query attached to an image of a Knapdale document has lead to some possible confusion. Having made an internet search, I can only find the Dalnacroich with which I am familiar.
I was the last FC forester to live in Strathconon, between 1981 and 1985. I think the birth place of your Mum could have been Dalnacroich, Strathconon.
Dalnacroich is the name given to a small morainic mound and its surrounds, standing in level crofting ground beside the River Meig, in Strathconon (NGR 231220 , 855028) or (Lat, Long 57.553745 , -4.8224455) or (What3Words horn.radiated.disposing).
The name Dalnacroich, as described in the Ordnance Survey, index card (Canmore: https://canmore.org.uk/collection/2361505) "According to local tradition, the local hillock at NH 3121 5503, measuring 40m x 16m and 2m high, is the place where malefactors were hanged and buried. It is known locally as the Hanging Hillock or Cairn, and not as the Gaelic "Cnoc na Croiche".
Surveyed at 1:2500"
The old Strathconon Estate sawmill site, sits in Strathconon Wood, at the back of Milton and the Village Hall (NGR 230283 855415) and on the opposite bank of the Allt Mor burn from the main Lego families house. The Lego family now own the whole of Strathconon, including Scardroy Estate at the western end of the glen.
I suspect that your Grandfather would have been working in Strathconon Wood, either for the Coombes (Watneys beer), who owned Strathconon Estate from 1890 until Peter Coombe sold it to James Macdonald Buchanan ("Black & White" whisky) in the 1970's and who demolished Fearn Cottage ("The Factor's House") in 1984, replacing it with a palatial, yet in keeping £1m plus mansion that is now the Lego families main house in the glen. Or, for a sawmiller, who had purchased timber in a standing sale from Strathconon Estate.
I have tried to find documentation of your Mother's birth from the information that you posted, without success. Sometimes, due to the transient nature of the wood cutter/sawmiller's work, the legal niceties of registering births were not done. Also because the date you have given of your Mother's birth is less than 100 years from now, viewing the Register entry online is not possible for legal reasons.
However, if you would allow me to contact you at your email address, rather than directly through this forum, I shall try to provide some pointers for you. DO NOT POST YOUR EMAIL here, as you could be spammed! A short affirmative note in reply to notify the Administrator will enable me to contact them and you.

thanks Norman and Bill, you've provided some very interesting information, I shall dig a bit deeper as well.
Just some further information regarding my mum, her full name before marriage was Margaret Catherine Grant Moir, but preferred to be addressed as Cathy, when we used to visit our maternal grandma she was living at Foyers, on the side of Loch Ness, I know my grandfather by then was working at the aluminium plant, along with two of my uncles, at Foyers, having left his job with the forestry, he passed whilst still employed there.
Regarding my search I've probably confused the place names, but as I said I will dig a bit more
