APF event Linlithgow early 80s - Sifer Harvester

John recalls:
‘- that was the first type of harvester I ever felled for – we used to fell whole tree for the machine to process and the first place I worked with them was in the Borders in early 1980s’
This image was taken at an APF International Forest Machinery Event based in Linlithgow around 1982-3. Does anyone else remember this machine?

I drove one in 1981 and the measuring system was rubbish so I used to put them through in pole length and a cutter followed and cross cut it.
