County skidder is dragging tree length poles which have just been extracted a long way down a very steep slope by the Alp Cable crane which is just in shot on the right. The very large trees, some up to 140 feet and weighting in at well over a ton, are being dragged to a level stacking area where a chainsaw operator can be seen cutting off the broken branch spikes and also cross cutting into market lengths.
The site is at Dalcattaig, Inchnacardoch Forest.
