Image of the bale strapping section of Riddoch of Rothiemay’s sawmill in Lochaber at Corpach, Killmallie. The timber looks like in old money 8 foot by 6 inches by 2 inches gathered in bales of sixty pieces. BSW purchased the mill from Riddochs in the late 1980s

Perhaps someone will recognise the operator and confirm the estimated date of the photograph?

At time of writing following the building of the new sawmill by BSW on the old pulpmill site these sheds and site have all been cleared of machines and timber and is in process of being used as a base for Ferguson’s transport.
