This is presumed to be the official opening of the original otter hide on Skye at Kylerhea. The person in the middle is Sandy Calder then Assistant Conservator for North Scotland responsible for conservation, recreation and forest management in North Scotland Conservancy. The man on the right may be Morton Boyd originally head of the Nature Conservancy Council who joined the Forestry Commission to advise on wildlife management and tourism. The name of the lady is no known.

Any information and accurate year of the opening event would be very welcome.
