Deer damage to Norway spruce

Location, year and man not named in this image of bark stripping by deer. Red deer certainly could strip bark in early spring when sap was rising as did Sika deer even more prolifically.
Can anyone name the man?

The man in the photo is Neil MacDonald, Savary, Morvern. He was a keeper with the Forestry at Fuinary
