Sheughing broadleaves at Newton Nursery

No information given with this image other than the name Newton Nursery. Two nursery staff are earthing up the sheughs of broadleaves which have been lifted from the transplant lines and made ready for dispatch out to forests.
Can anyone name the men and also confirm the approximate year?
