50th Anniversary of Forestry Commission

A series of photographs taken of a well turned out display in a hall possibly near Glenmore Forest Park (Queen’s Forest) celebrating the first 50 years of the Forestry Commission.
The sections of the display highlight the ecology of the forest and the role of the Forestry Commission in control of some species in the forest. There is a display of roe deer heads and antler types, the tools of the trade for the stalker plus unusually some of the craft work in horn, deer shin and leather. Below the panels are again more stuffed taxidermist specimens of a heron, pine marten, capercailzie and possibly an owl.
