Timber lorry in Forest

The photograph is courtesy of Inverness, Ross and Skye Forest District and staff at their Fort Augustus office.

Hopefully someone will recognise the lorry company and possibly the driver of this lorry which has a registration number FST856F and was photographed around 1972.

Hi Norman, the timber lorry is a Volvo F86 the owner was Pat MacDonald known as pat the pier from invermoriston the driver was Jimmy Steel also from invermoriston the lorry was later owned by Ogilvies muir of ord the same lorry can be seen in picture No 1227 of Ogilvies transport with driver Gordon Burnett loading pulp wood at clashindarroch Huntly Comment left on 20 March 2016 at 22:11 by Brian Fletcher
